If I could make a career by doing what I love most, I would become a TV/Film Producer. I chose this occupation because in the last 2 years, the world of broadcasting and media has caught my full attention. I never knew how much I enjoyed media until I began operating the camera at my church and taking special accredited Broadcast & Video Production courses outside of my normal high school classes. These experiences changed my mindset and shaped a new career outlook for me in the future.
To achieve this goal and be successful and have longevity in the field, I know I have to gain more experience and continue to be educated. My goals are to graduate from college in 4 years with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications and attend graduate school so that I may receive my Master’s in Fine Arts – Production. I also plan on having a minor in Business Management so I may have my own production company and studios in the future. I am cognizant on how important education is and how receiving a good one is a privilege, so why not learn all you can and take your knowledge and inspire and educate others in the world?
Achieving my dream of becoming a producer can help me change how the world’s occupants view each other. I’d hope my TV programs and movies change perceptions on races and countries and helps bring us all together again, as if Pangaea had been re-connected.
