I would love to make my living protecting and preserving our beautiful planet’s most valuable, and often overlooked resources, its wildlife. Ideally, I will graduate from the University of Nevada Reno in 2 years with a degree in wildlife ecology and conservation. At this point, assuming I can muster up the necessary funding, I would like to attend a master program and study marine biology.
The ocean is our planet’s most bountiful resource. It covers 70 percent of Earth. This environment is home to more than one million species of plants and animals. These species require the help of scientists to protect them and their environment. I know this would be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling career. I would greatly appreciate the chance to be part of the driving force behind conservation efforts for this particular environment. It would be an honor to assist in preserving this wondrous ecosystem for future generations to come. The oceans are among some of the most inspiring places in the entire known universe, and as such, they should be respected and cared for by our species for many generations to come.
