There are many things that interest me and I have always been a person who would love to reach out and change the world. The problem with this is that trying to change the whole world is a hefty and overwhelming challenge. Because of this, I decided that I would contribute by becoming a physical therapist. Now, at first, this job may not seem world-changing worthy, but it can change the world of one individual immensely. I, myself, have had first hand experience with physical therapy more than once in my life. If it were not for the hard work and dedication of my physical therapist, I would not have been able to complete my high school soccer career, much less achieve my dream of playing college soccer. I think it would be an amazing feeling to see the old man, who has trouble getting out of bed in the morning, transform into the grandpa who is giving piggy back rides to his grand children because you helped him become healthier. This is not only a career that I have a deep interest in, but the fact that I have the potential to help people from toddlers all the way up to elders makes me feel like I am contributing to a bigger portion of the world. When people are healthy, they are happy, and that is really the main goal in life.
