If forced to make a decision on my life’s passion, I would say it would be working on and building custom Computers. What I mean by this is acquiring the parts for it and assembling them together and selling to the client who requested the computer. I think it is a great deal of fun to do and can be very educational. You must know all the the different parts of the PC what the capabilities are of each part and be able to gauge the quality of the item via the stats given about that item. I don’t necessarily think that this passion I have will change the world in a dramatic sort of way, but I see it as changing the world in the small way; the only way many of us may ever hope to. I see it as a way for people to gain more access of the technologies of today and making it easier to have a computer that is specifically tailored to do what they need it to. This also give many people who are new to technology a great chance to get a personal attachment to their computer as it was made just for them. This passion of mine also gives many people a chance to find out what they can do given the proper equipment. If a man worked hard his whole life learning to program and the only problem stopping him was the equipment he was using, a new custom made computer would be life changing for that man’ career and education. My passion may not be as world changing as some organizations such as the Red Cross may be, but I believe it is my small contribution to society as a single person to help out anyone I can with their technology needs.
