Being a psychologist is my ideal job because I like the idea of helping others. More specifically, I’d like to be a child psychologist for the troubled youth. We need more African American psychologists to relate to African American children. I am currently a teenager, so I know from experience that we make mistakes and do stupid things. I would like to help the youth realize the importance of making their lives right. I would try my hardest to keep them out of trouble and steer them in the right direction. This would be my ideal job because I would be getting paid to do what I love. I could potentially change someone’s life for the better which would be more rewarding to me than any paycheck. This is my ideal job because I could never get bored. I would constantly get to meet with different young people and try to better them. I would try to put their heads on straight. I could also learn and grow from them. We could help each other. I would dig deep inside individuals to try to grasp an understanding of their lives, so that I can help them to the best of my ability. I would try to install hope, faith, and growth into the teens. I want them to learn from their past mistakes, and change it into something positive. I want to change people, as well as better myself. I want to share my love and care with others.
