I believe the most powerful form of communication is through music. Music has always been my source of comfort, inspiration, and expression. My dream is to be a professional singer – release dates, tours, platinum records, the whole deal. But it isn’t the glamour that makes my dream so desirable. It’s the idea that one person, through music, can affect an entire crowd. To be a musician means to connect with listeners, and that is phenomenal in itself. I want to connect with people on a level that is deeper than everyday conversations. Music allows this profound connection. That is how I would change the world; I would be a comfort, an inspiration, and a representative of expression to listeners of every type. It is a vivid dream I have, to be a singer. I know that it takes determination, practice, and passion. With that being said, I have actually already begun to conquer goals that could possibly lead to my dream. I picked up the guitar, wrote some songs, and performed at open mic nights. And I will continue to do these things, knowing that practice makes perfect. I hope that one day I can share my voice with the world. Because that is all it takes – one voice to connect with thousands.
