All my life I’ve wanted to have a job where I could help change the lives of hurting people. Whether the person is a person who is physically, mentally or emotionally ill. It wasn’t until I had to take care of my own grandmother at the age of 15 years old did I decide nursing was my calling. I’ve come from a very under privilege community. Many have little to no access to healthcare. I wanted to be the one to make the difference not only in my own family, but as well as in my community. I decided to dedicated my life into becoming a nurse so that I could later pursue a career as a Family Nurse Pracitioner. In this position, I will be allowed the opportunity to open my own clinic to those who don’t have access to healthcare or insurance at an affordable cost. With the laws they way they are designed now we need clinics for people to meet their minor healthcare needs early on to prevent them from becoming major healthcare deficits.
