If I could earn a living being a nurse I would be forever grateful. I would help all walks of age, gender, race. I would help anyone who needs health care. As a future nurse I am obliged to help patients families with the health care process. I am not changing the whole world but I am impacting it by touching the lives of others. I feel if I am contributing to society and caring for people then I am making a difference. If I am putting in effort to make a difference then I am impacting my community. Therefore I am impacting the world as a human. I am a junior in college and a junior in nursing school. I am excited to become a nurse to work in a field that is constantly changing and growing. I have many opportunities in that field from labor and delivery to geriatrics. I will learn so much along the way as I am a nurse and I can teach my patients preventive care. The world will always need nurses in time of need and to be there in times of emergency. Even in times where diseases are disappearing and then reappearing and bacteria is becoming resistant. Nurses have to be around along with doctors to prevent and treat diseases. We work with lives in our hands and know an ever-ending wealth of information to think critically about a patient. Nurses change the world.
