My mother always said “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” As I grew up, I sadly realized that work and pleasure rarely came as a package. The focus was about the money and the lifestyle you wanted to live. However, I have made it my mission to put money, and lifestyle aside. To let my career focus on making me happy everyday, and serving to the world as it is my duty to do so. I will excel in my studies and use my imagination in order to rise to the highest placement in my career. I will also use my friends and fellow connections, which will help me, achieve my goal of becoming a Mechanical Engineer. I will re-imagine, design, and create technology that helps doctors detect cancer cells before they have spread, technology that allows the paralyzed to regain function, and technology that will allow our troops to protect our freedom without risking their lives to do so. As a human being, it is important for me to add to the world I live in; to make tomorrow better than yesterday and the day before that. Being a Mechanical Engineer will not be work, it will be my contribution to world that I am so blessed to be apart of, and I will continue to change it for the better in my many years to come.
