I have what can only be described as a REALLY bad case of wanderlust, but at the same time I firmly believe in the Tolkien quote that says “not all those who wander are lost” because in my case that wandering has a purpose. That being said, if I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be traveling, but it would change the world because I would be doing so with an agency like Doctors Without Borders, or as a biomedical engineer taking technologies to those in underdeveloped areas of the globe. As of now on my way to make a positive impact on the world among other things I will hopefully be taking German classes so that my junior year of college I would be able to work towards a BS in biomedical engineering while taking classes in Germany and learning from some of the most amazing engineers in the world. In doing so I would not only be able to move towards my bachelors, but also have taken all the prerequisites for medical school, and a few years after my undergraduate commencement ceremonies I could hopefully attend medical school and specialize in cardiology or ophthalmology. By accomplishing this I would be able to travel throughout parts of underprivileged or underdeveloped countries in Africa, Asia, Central America, or even Europe, delivering much needed medical treatment and gaining experiences that would last a lifetime.
