Earning a living doing what I love most has never been a worry of mine. Not because I imagine my career choice will lead to an extravagant lifestyle but because what I love most is so important to me that the comfort of living does not matter.

Music is my passion. As I’ve grown I realize this love is one that I want to share with others. My overall goal is to own a studio where musical learning takes place. Students will have the chance to dive further into music than is possible in school. Adults will have a place where they can pick up where they left off before choosing a different career. Also there are plenty of children and adults who can’t afford music instruction. Reaching out to them will be another part of my program.

This ultimate goal can’t be achieved over night so I’ve established a list of others to hit along the way. In college I will be studying and practicing often to learn all I can and achieve goal number two. Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Music and Communications to validate what I do and be great at what I’m working to accomplish.

Although the end goal is one that will take more time to complete than a year after college I won’t waste anytime instilling a love of music in students. Whether I’m teaching at schools or giving private lessons my passion for music will be present in all that I do.
