I believe that big or small, we all have a role to play in this world and while I am still mapping out my pathway, I have always been fascinated with the smaller things in life. Particularly, the world of science and microbiology. It amazes me that the smallest, microscopic beings have such a powerful role in our world and my dream is to one day be one of the many minds to discover something as powerful as the cure for cancer.
To work in a well-renowned research hospital talking with some of the most brilliant and forward thinking minds of our time would be my part in changing this world we live in. Diseases are much like riddles of the body and for years they go unsolved. If I could be part in turning someone’s life around and giving them the hope that they will see yet another birthday or anniversary, I would feel as though I had accomplished the greatest goal in life.
In completing this goal, I would like to do my graduate studies in such places as Case Western or Johns Hopkins University. I can only imagine the wealth of knowledge that I could absorb in these places, listening to those who have paved this path before me.
