Most audiences watch shark week for informative television on a dangerous animal in the many oceans of the world. I, however, count down the days to this exciting week of the year to learn about the beauty and strength of these magnificent creatures. If I could make a living doing what I love, I would be a marine biologist with a focus on sharks. Some say, “You can make a living being a marine biologist!” and they would be right. I willingly chose a different path and I am excited about my future career which I am working toward. Dentistry is an amazing profession, and helps millions of people everyday not only with dental health, but overall health as well. I chose this profession because I believe family is everything and I have always been close with my family and I would not have it any other way.
Marine biology has always been in the back of my mind as a profession I would like to pursue if my family could be closer to my career location. I believe learning about sharks and other sea life would help, not only the United States, but everyone around the world to become more aware of how these creatures are not as dangerous as they may seem. I believe sharks are something to be marveled at instead of feared. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you!
