If I could earn a living doing what I love the most it would be to earn a living as the owner of a “home-style” restaurant in my local community. This “home-style” restaurant would change the world by giving my community a gathering place for people to come and enjoy food and conversation. This would be important because it fosters a sense of strong community in our neighborhood. In order to make that dream a reality I would to take these steps:
1. Get a degree in business- this is what I am currently working towards and in another year and a half I will have my AS in business, the first step to reaching my dream.
2. Go to culinary school- this is important to have the fundamentals of cooking and properly handling food in the food industry especially if I am going to be a restaurant owner one day. This is the second important step in making my dream come true.
3. Make a business plan and find and partner to invest with me in the restaurant, hire staff, make menus, find a location, and create a business name is also a part of the third step I would take to get closer to my dream job.
The last step is to open up for business! My dream job is to be a business owner and since I love to cook, it is my passion, having my own restaurant would be the ideal way to earn a living.
