For as long as I can remember, all I have ever wanted to do is help people. I just wanted to lend a hand. My philosophy was that at the end of the day my day was complete if I could make that one person smile or feel better like they mattered. That day is the day that I decided that my dream was to become a nurse. Nursing takes skill; it takes passion and a want to care for others. You see, I have those qualities. One of the main goals in my life is helping and caring for others. I want to make my patient remember my name and the experience that they had with me in every good way imaginable. I love my patients and cannot wait to take care of them throughout the day. Throughout my walk of life as a medical assistant, I have been able to fulfill my dream of being in the medical field and helping others. Now, I would like to pursue my dream in becoming a nurse by furthering my education. I can change the world by becoming a nurse. I would be able to make that sick or dying patient have hope or feel like they matter to the world. I can make that ill child smile and have a great sense of love and caring. I can lend a hand when needed. I can be the best nurse that I can be.
