Hopes and dreams; we all have them. They may be big or they may be small, but they are meaningful, nonetheless. I have had a dream since I was twelve years old to help people in need. I want to help the sick, those in pain, and those who are on the verge of death. Giving to those who are not as fortunate as I am is what makes me feel happy. Being a nurse would fulfill that dream and change not only my life, but the lives of others.
The difference with me is that I do not want to be some ordinary nurse working just for a hospital. I want to help those who cannot afford to have health insurance. I would still love to work in a hospital setting, but I want to help homeless people who do not have the means to care for themselves. I want to treat their sicknesses, dress their wounds, and show them that there is still a kind and helping hand in the world.
Whether your dreams are big or small, you never know if they can make a positive impact on the world. I would change the world by helping the people that so many of us seem to look past. I would make this world a better place by sharing some of my thoughts and views on healthcare for the under-privileged and hoping others would embrace my ideas as well. My dreams would change this world for the better.
