My dream job would be to become a psychiatrist. I have always wanted to be a psychiatrist, mostly because I would get to help people. Some may ask why I would want to be a doctor for the mentally ill and the answer would be that I want to help people transition and help them live a normal life without the burden of anxiety, depression, voices, or any other issues that they may face on an everyday basis. I want to help them with their problems and teach those ways to cope with this unique addition that they have been given to live with in their lives. Many people do not ask to have these disorders and I think that they deserve to be helped and not just be pushed to the side because they are so called “crazy” because everybody is unique and I think that everybody deserves a chance to be helped. To make my goals a reality of becoming a psychiatrist, I am attending a four year college paid for all by myself in order to earn a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. I will then attend medical school to get my PHD and lastly a 2 year program for my field of study. I will do whatever it takes to make my dream a reality because helping people every single day would be worth all that I have been through to make my dream of becoming a psychiatrist come true.
