Many students may have a wild dream; for example, to be a rock star, to be famous football player, soccer player, etc. For me, if I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be being an Elementary Education Teacher and a Special Education Teacher. You may be thinking, ” That’s your dream? “Me successfully being a teacher would change the world significantly. How? well, having my own classroom with several kids with all different personalities. Kids are kind of nervous the first day of school yet excited. As each day goes by I will be giving them numerous lessons, working one-on-one with every student; whether he or she has disabilities or not. As I am working with them I can see from day one to the end of the school year how much each and every one of my kids has grown and gained more knowledge then what they had before. Then, they will take this knowledge and apply it to the next step in schooling. From the day I had them to when they are all grown up around 18-20 years of age I can say I helped them make their way through life. They will then take that next big step in life in what they want to be. What they want to be will change the world around us, to some being Doctors saving lives, to Dentist, to Firefighters, to simply doing what they love the most. To accomplish these goals, I am currently enrolled into a 4 year college; I will be taking several courses to learn about certain disabilities and observing the children how they work with there hands and what they are thinking. I will be learning time management, and patience. Each child will learn at a different pace and I have to respect that, and I will. During my schooling, I will realize that the attention span of a child is not really good. I will have to have the creativity to in my lessons to keep the children occupied during my teaching but at the same time learning new things. After my 4 years I will be planning on going onto my masters while I have a stable job. In the end though, I may have lots of schooling debt from loans but everyone does. In my eyes though that debt will be worth it, Why? because I will be doing what I love to do, making my dream into reality.
