While most people prefer the branding/advertising branch of marketing, I’m more interested working behind-the-scenes as a market research analyst. I want to study market conditions to examine potential sales of a product. I want to help companies understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price. As an analyst, I can help the company determine what they should be doing in order for their products to reach their maximum potential. It was a very exciting moment when I finally realized what I wanted to pursue a career in. I would change the world by developing new methods of marketing and its analysis by determining not only what makes people buy certain products but how they want to feel when buying/using the product. If companies upgrade the way they market products and services, they could gain a large consumer base and reach economic success!
Though I have many more years of school ahead of me, I cherish each one because of how much I can gain and learn from them. The experience I acquire here will help me achieve the goals I have set for myself in life. With education as my top priority, I will continue to work hard in order to become a market research analyst. I am truly glad I found my calling as a business major because you know what they say: choose a job you love and you won’t have to work a day in your life.
