If I could make a living doing what I love to do, it would be working with and helping others. My dream job is to become a registered nurse. I enjoy seeing new faces every day, having simple conversations and finding out facts about people and their lives. After working previously at a bank, I had the privilege of being able to have many conversations with different people and help members’ everyday with their financial needs. Although I did not enjoy the fact that I had to “sell” products to these members, it made me happy knowing they came to me for any financial problems or financial advice and I was able to help them. It is a great feeling knowing you helped someone and made their day better. I believe it takes a certain person to become a nurse. Not only does it take intelligence, but also compassion and the willingness to want to help people. As a nurse you should want to make your patients feel comfortable and safe in your hands. And I believe that is something I can and will do. This scholarship would be of great help in reaching my goal as a registered nurse. I plan to finish the LVN program and after that move into a RN program so I can reach my main goal and start helping others. Thank you.
