If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be to open a facility for homeless and displaced people. As a psychology student, I understand that a lot of our homeless have lost everything do to mental conditions that are brought on by many factors of this hectic world we live in today. The way our economy is right now, most people are living paycheck to pay check and are one check away from being homeless. I want to open a facility that would not only house the homeless/displace, but that will also help them rebuild their lives. My facility would give them counseling, educational programs to equip them to integrate back into the world. They would also have access to computers, a contact number and an address to be able to put on an employment application. My hope is that after we have gotten people on their feet, they would be required to give back in some capacity, whether it is volunteering or monetary donations. I believe this would change the world because, this would let people know that there are still caring people in this world willing to help their fellow man, as well as show them the importance of helping someone else in return.
