If I could earn a living doing what I love most I would be doing what I am going to college for right now, and that is to be a school counselor. I would help young people through the many issues and hard times that life throws at them. It would change the world because I would impact these kids in a positive way. The students would then impact the world in a positive way, rather than a negative way if I hadn’t been there to help them, listen and give advice. Some children do not have the best parents or home lives and they need someone to show them love, support, hope and guidance. As a school counselor I would be helping them develop into young adults that would be a benefit to the rest of society, rather than young adults who get in and make trouble. To make this a reality I will set the goals of first finishing the many years of college ahead of me, and getting good grades. Next would be the goal of getting an internship at a school as a school counselor. After the internship my following goal would be to get a counseling job at a school, possibly the one I interned at! Once I get the job I will start making an impact on my students, willing a ready to help them in any way. Before I know it my dream will be a reality.
