If I could earn a living doing what I love most in the world, I would be a music artist. There is nothing in this world more emotional, passionate, and influential than music. Whether you enjoy Country, R&B, Rap, Rock, Classical, Indie, any genre you prefer it effects almost all people in either a positive or negative way. Music is constantly changing the world by its influence on all ages.
Lyrics are the most influential part of music. It can affect their everyday life, from the way the act, the things they say, their emotional state, even the way they think about the world and others in it. I believe in recent years there are to many bad messages in pop culture music. I would change the world with music by making a point to make positive messaged music. Making the youth realize that getting drunk, and partying, and sleeping with people shouldn’t be something you should be singing about let alone doing.
The pop culture music today encourages our youth to be irresponsible. To not have good self esteem, self worth, or self respect and I believe it is ruining our nations youth. Being a music artist I would change the messages that go out in music. Appeal to peoples emotions, and heart, and connect with them in their lives but in a positive way that has been lost over time.
