The style of teaching that I would like to accomplish with a military is a very simple one. I want to give back to the military in some way what they gave to me. I like to make sure a military golfer’s is comfortable in what they’re doing and that it is easy for them to understand the points that I am trying to convey to them.
My main goal in teaching the game of golf is to make sure that people are having fun getting better at the game. Whether the person has never picked up a golf club or if they are an accomplished played, I absolutely believe that I can improve their game. There is no person I’m afraid to take on as a student as I believe teachers learn the same, if not more than students during a lesson. Every single student that comes to a PGA Professional will have some sort of issue with their golf game; if they have a golf game to begin with. Our goal as professionals is to not only make the student feel like they have improved, but also show the results of improvement and how they got there.
Golf can be a very complicated game for anyone that picks up a club. My goal is to make it a simple game for everyone that picks up a club.
