As Margaret Mead stated, “A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” If I could make six figures inspiring others to turn their dreams into reality, I would spend the rest of my life fulfilling the emptiness that the world possess due to the apathetic minds that surface the world today. My job is necessary because we are amongst the next president, doctors, and lawyers and they did not assume their position without encouragement from others. Although there are few people that are driven by the negativity that surrounds them, most people are easily influenced by the words of others. With this being said, majority of the people that live in our world could easily be discouraged. My job changes the world in a positive way; I will ensure that everyone has a motivator in their corner, encouraging them to accomplish their goals in life.
Furthermore, the rationale for choosing me for the scholarship is so I will have the means to learn more and serve as a leader, because the fact of the matter is that there is not a job for being a mentor. However, I am capable of inspiring those around me to not only dream but to take action and pursue their education as I have. It is my aspiration to serve as a mentor to every individual I come across, instilling the same drive and determination that was implanted into me.
