Throughout my two years at Florida Atlantic University, I have turned my nursing aspirations into reality. Early on, especially during my high school career, I demonstrated exemplary academic performance through my diligence and focused direction into achieving my ambition. Balancing a rigorous AP schedule, dual enrollment, Biotech Academy, and National Honor Society was not an easy task. However, I excelled in my studies and managed to maintain a high GPA. Despite my hectic academic schedule, I was very passionate about volunteering my time in caring for others and furthering my learning. I volunteered countless hours at Delray Medical Center over two summers. My exposure at the hospital allowed me to interact with patients and work alongside dedicated medical personnel. It gave me valuable insight into the medical field, which I have always aspired to be a part of. Essentially, it confirmed my love for the nursing profession.
Furthermore, I never faltered in my focus to achieving academic excellence. During my Fall 2012 and Spring 2014 terms, I managed to receive the honor of being on the Dean’s List. More importantly, I was recently admitted into the Traditional BSN Program at FAU. I am two weeks away from completing my second summer semester and have maintained a high GPA. In the future, I plan to specialize after graduation and hopefully become a CRNA. It has been my lifelong dream to be able to impact people’s lives by serving the community’s medical needs through dedicated nursing care.
