If I can earn a living doing what I love most, it would be a juvenile defense attorney and probation officer. This would help the world in many ways, because if I was appointed such a position than it will enable me to provide adequate justice, care, mentoring, and guidance to all the misguided juveniles. My passion to help juveniles is strong, because I was once a juvenile who encountered problems with the law and just like many other juvenile delinquents upon arrival to this cycle they tend to lose their hope, purpose and faith in life. However, giving the fact that I’ve seen and went through the rigors of the criminal justice system as a juvenile, I can alter their mindset, build a sense of comfort with them due to the fact that I can relate and from there open up doors to new heights for them.
My experience illustrated that I need to contemplate on every decision I make in my life. While portraying these important points, it made me ponder on how serious the situation was, and the consequences that could have followed. It opened my eyes dramatically. How can adolescents who make crime a lifestyle change? This question left me aroused in thought, and I came to one answer. In order to be the change I want, is the reason why I desire to be a Juvenile Defense Attorney & Probation officer to help the progression of the community, while freeing the youth from bad influences.
