It must be very rewarding to live your life for yourself and not for others. If I could earn a living doing what I love to do the most, it would be writing because words have power that can change the world. I will be writing the stories of inspirational people who beginning with nothing, have persevered to obtain their dreams. As an aspiring writer, I will wield powerful words to bring hope to the hopeless and dreams to those who have none. I will write to make others believe in themselves and their goals. This way they can follow in the footsteps of others who society has shunned, yet succeeded through their true grit.

As a college student, I am majoring in English and taking courses such as Creative Writing which will help me to do what I love the most in my life, writing. I am also getting to know amazing people I tutor with inspirational stories of their own and networking. When I complete my education, I will have many stories to share with others to inspire them to follow their dreams. Minoring in International Studies at the University will enable me to get a broader perspective outside of my country to show the world that anything is possible.
