Life is about laughing and living, in good and bad times. Getting through whatever comes our way and looking back and smiling. Life has taken me through some unique paths throughout my life. Growing up in a broken home, facing mental abuse by my love ones. There is good in everyone no matter how they might seem; there is always a reason behind their actions. There was a time in my life I was depress, I was put down because I was different. I felt alone in the world, I would beat myself up trying to be the best just so I would be accepted. One day, all those thoughts of ending my life came into action. After this experience I realize that I wanted to help others that are going through hardships. We are human beings, we all hurt,we all might seem different but no matter our past mistakes we all deserve a second chance. There is no point in putting all our energy into negative dwelling, there is only one way to deal with challenges, that is to face them. I started to force all my energy into making a difference in someone else’s life. I volunteer at North County Lifeline, their mission is to build self-reliance among youth, adults and families through problem solving, skill building. I am determine, hardworking and outspoken student that is willing to do anything to make my dreams come true, that is to make a difference in someone else’s life.
