We all have something we’ll love to do someday when we will have enough resources like money. My greatest dream and great influential in my academic life is to someday be of great help to the needy people I always come across in streets and all other places.
I grew up in a Christian home where my mother used to bring so many hungry children with no clothes on and did everything for them like cleaning them up, giving them clothes to wear and giving them other clothes that we wore no more to take home. Because of my altruistic mother, I’ve always dreamt of someday opening a children’s home and charity center to help such people.
To achieve that dream, I have some few goals to keep me going;
1. Believe in myself.
By believing in myself that someday I can do it opens more doors in preparation for tomorrow. As Nick Vujicic, a limbless man, always believed in himself of becoming a public speaker and everything was possible.
2. Believe in those people who want to help me achieve my dream. There is nothing as bad as disbelieving in your fellow colleagues, friends, teachers and friends who are determined to help you reach your destination.
3. Put more effort in my academics.
I always want to keep on getting a GPA of 4.0 because that can open great opportunities in big industries. So, I’ll have to work hard to achieve my dream.
4. Lastly, put God first in everything I do. God is the giver of everything. Putting Him first removes all obstacles on my way to achieving my dream.
