The thing that I love the most is debating. There is something about the fierce competition and the thundering clash of ideas and philosophies that draws me to debating. My dad and I are best friends but we often find ourselves in a struggle to maintain our friendship when getting along when a political or philosophical debate comes along. We can argue about anything. A lot of times I will argue a point I do not believe in just so that we can debate the idea of something to death. It is a great way to open yourself up to new ideas and thoroughly understand both sides of the argument because you have to be ready to know the weak points of an argument so that you may be able to defend it. The highest court in the United States does listens to debates all the time and once they have heard the debate they consider the arguments and then they debate. The United States Supreme Court is where change happens. My dream job would be to sit on the Supreme Court and make a real impact in the citizens of the United States. Congress has been criticized for not getting anything done but the same could never be said about the Supreme Court. After all it has brought us real change with cases such as Brown vs the Board of Education and those who sit on the bench are really able to make a change for the better.
