Growing up, I was a bit obsessed with a popular game called, Sally’s Spa. I would spend hours engaging my little fingers because, without me Sally’s Spa could not function. This may sound arrogant seeing as though the game would just sit there if I didn’t indulge. However, this concept gave me confidence, power, and also instilled the idea of one day becoming a spa owner. What really sealed my idea into a dream was the first time I actually went to a spa. That day was one of the most peaceful days of my life! The setting alone is automatically calming and having that a part of my life would exceed my expectations of a dream becoming an exceptional reality.
Of course realistic dreams have to be obtainable through goals put in place to actually bring it alive. To own and operate a top notch spa, I would want to be educated and perhaps make my own line of products to use and carry. My future background in dermatology would give me the leverage to do so. Furthermore, I would love to be educated in massage, aromatherapy, pressure points, and other aspects related to the body (this would be a plus when hiring as well). With the establishment of a committed team and hard work my spa could be much success- equal to what I made Sally’s. I may not impact the world directly, but I could make the people living in it feel so much better about themselves!
