What I love the most is designing and creating things, jewelry specifically. I’ve evolved from plastic beads as a kid to more refined tastes in beads such as semi-precious gemstones and glass. For the moment, I am finishing my Associates at HCC, and in 2015, when I graduate, I will be transferring to Towson University for my Bachelor’s in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design. Probably one of the more unusual goals that you all have gotten, I’m sure. But I intend to have my own jewelry shop one day, where I will make beautiful pieces of artwork. I would love to make pieces that I can auction off for charities that I’m passionate about. A beautifully done and well designed embroidered collar can sell for as little as $1500. Can you imagine if I have several of those and people are just as passionate about donating as I am? I can. And I know it will be awesome. I will even make necklaces and bracelets for children in hospitals so that they have something they can hold on to forever. Not many understand my dream or why I want to do it, but they are proud of me when they hear.
