The thing I love the most is riding my dirt bike. Riding is a major characteristic of my personality. My face releases this grin of happiness and excitement. I get up, put on my riding gear and proceed outside. My truck in the drive way and I load my bike up, start the truck then go. I unload the bike, put my helmet on and get. I can feel my breath on my face inside my helmet and tighten the buckle. My gloves are on tight and my foot hits the kick stand. My dirt bike starting makes my heart beat faster and makes my right hand grab the throttle while my left foot puts the clutch into first gear. I am going now, starting slow then one gear at a time, first, second then third, I am really going now. All my stress, tension and worries blow away behind me leaving nothing but pure happiness. I would like to apply to my life the same amount of respect, hard work and pleasure I receive from riding. Helping people in any positive way is the only time I can come close to having that same excited, productive, just plain good feeling. It is not always about the task at hand but more about knowing when someone was in need, they called me. That same feeling of sitting on my bike and grabbing third gear is the same I feel when my friend shakes my hand and says thank you.
