After a life of athletics and high school involvement within the sports medicine field I’ve obtained a passion for the aspect of physical therapy. I love working with athletes in efforts to better their skill and health. Around the globe participation in sports continues to grow at each level of play but medical supervision for athletes is not as abundant as it is in America. Enrolled in Xavier University I plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and minor in pre-physical therapy studies. Throughout the next four years I will complete the prerequisite requirements for the physical therapy graduate program for the university of my choice, the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Upon graduating with certification as an athletic trainer and physical therapist I will then be enabled to begin my practice. I hope to use connections built between college and professional level sports medicine professionals to develop the means to assess and undergo improvement of medical involvement surrounding athletics in other countries. Achieving each of these goals I’ve set will bring my dreams into reality.
