If I could earn a living doing what I love the most I would be a teacher. Choosing to be an educator has never been an easy decision for me. Having been valedictorian of my class has lead many people in my life to pressure me to have a “prestigious” career. Many have told me that I am wasting my potential by becoming an educator, but contrary to their convictions, I think that it is one of the most important things I could ever do with my life. My faith in this belief is held in the fact that as an educator my goals are to provide and help the community within which I teach, love every student who walks in my classroom door, and to supply my students with an adequate education so that they may in turn impact the world. I have set these three goals for myself so that as a teacher I will never lose nor forget the reason I chose to become an educator.
