If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, it would be teaching because teachers change the world. Truly dedicated, committed teachers change the lives of their students. Teachers give our children the foundations that they need for life. I plan to be the teacher that helps out when/where I can. I know that I can’t fix every heartache or trouble in my students’ lives, but I can make my classroom a safe place. I can affect my school and through the school, the community. I will not let bureaucracy stand in the way of the needs of my class. I will be a teacher who teaches his students to not remember the bad things, and to be able to see the good in everything and everyone. I want to teach so my life will never be boring, as every day is different, and new things await just outside the classroom door. I will be a teacher who spreads conservation efforts around his class. Saving the planet and saving animals are important and everyone should be doing what they can. I want to become a teacher because teachers prevent crime. Teachers model behaviors and teach students how to deal with emotions. For me, it’s not about the A, B, C’s; it’s about everything else. The social skills, communication skills, organizational skills, teamwork, emotions, experimentation, trial and error. I can affect all my students by more than what I cram into their brains.
