Growing up I knew I was different from everybody else around me. I was like a chameleon. I was making new friends and learning from everyone. I grew up in a town where only sports mattered and if you were not a jock you were an outcast. When I was a kid I wanted to be an actor. I wanted people to relate not only to me but to the character I was playing instantly have a connection with them. I felt secure on stage and to be anyone I wanted to be. Acting has always been my passion and my motivation.
I can change the world with this burning passion I have because I can help people release their inner emotions that they have bottled up and release the negative aspect in their life in a positive manner. Acting (like any other art form) can bring up social justice to the world or change someone’s life through a message brought by someone’s acting. I want to tap into people’s ambition and emotions to give rebirth to theatre and to bring the arts back to the world. The arts are getting cut in schools and hardly anyone watches plays anymore because they cannot afford the cost.
