I’m a dancer, and being an artist I understand the impact that the arts have on people. I will be studying dance at Barry University for the next four years in hopes that one day I will be able to touch lives the way dance touched my life. Before I was introduced into the dance world I had no idea what I would do with my life, but dancing helped me find myself.
I plan on one day owning my own studio so that I can have an impact on a kid’s life the way my dance teacher inspired me to be great. I’m forever grateful to my former dance instructor because there’s so much more I learned from her class than just dance moves. I learned some of the toughest life lessons in the studio and growing up I’ve learned how to apply what I’ve learned towards everyday life.
Dance helped me grow as a human being and I believe that arts help people view life differently. Seeing things through a creative aspect helps people grasp an understanding on things in a totally new way. It makes you more open minded and offers new opportunities for people. Helping people has always been something I enjoy very much and opening a dance studio is certainly something I believe will help many people. Even if only inspire one person, that’s enough for me because I know it’ll change their life forever.
