If I could do whatever I like to earn a living I would start a non-profit to help all middle class people who need assistance after they lose their jobs and have no idea where to go or who to turn to.
I have found myself in this situation and came to realize as a person who has always worked, never had to rely on any programs or knew anyone who did, I was in an unchartered zone. It was a real awakening. I have done so much research, made so many phone calls and have been able to find people willing to help, people who don’t want to take my home or my retirement, to strip me of my soul. If I can help even one family realize that they don’t have to give up all they worked for because they hit a snag in life, then I will be overjoyed.
There is so much unemployment today and many people have never experienced life without a paycheck. These people need to know there are programs and organizations that can help with healthcare, food, mortgage, just listen, but they need to know “Who” and “Where”? This is where my non-profit will be there to give them all the support they need and help give them some peace.
I wish I had someone to guide me through those times, but I know with the right education I can reach the potential I need to achieve my goal. I will succeed!
