If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be directing films for Hollywood that expose the truth on certain issues in today’s society. The films I would produce would change the world by educating people with the truth instead of propaganda like Hollywood has always done. It is rare when you watch a movie that is completely accurate and does not have a political bias that motivates the message behind it. To say that Hollywood is too liberal or too conservative is nonsense; if anything it’s too corporatized. The motion pictures that are based on historical accuracy or expose the truth rarely make it into the mainstream and usually end up in the Independent portion of the film industry. I am not so sure if my films would change the world, but if I can target an audience in which their beliefs on a certain issue were to change for the greater good then I would definitely be happy with that. To accomplish all of this, I must first go to a reputable university to study the art form of film making which I am currently doing now. I will definitely take advantage of internship opportunities to further advance my knowledge of the film industry by actually working at a studio. I will not only have to make connections with not only people in the studios, but also students from my classes. If I need a crew I can always count on my fellow classmates.
