If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would be helping other military veteran’s that have been exploited through the Veteran’s Administration (VA).

I am currently working on my degree in Legal Studies. My goal is to work in a legal capacity, helping other veteran’s that are low income and could not otherwise afford counsel.

I’m sure you’ve heard about all of the things going on at the VA. Unfortunately, I have been unlucky enough to be a veteran that’s had to fight her way through the system. I’ve had to have the discipline, and tenacity to keep striving forward. Because if I didn’t, no one would care.

I have been one of the few to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the VA. But some do not.

Whether, it’s through lack of drive, or just giving up due to everything they put us through, some veteran’s do not get what they truly deserve.

Most of us can’t afford legal services as they are just too expensive. But most of us need it.

My ultimate goal is to finish my Bachelor’s and Graduate work in Legal Studies to give back to other veteran’s. I truly enjoy helping out and nothing would make me happier than to be able to do so.

Whether I am selected for this scholarship or not, I will get to my goal. I do not plan on letting anything stop me from achieving it.

Freedom is not free.
