What do I love most? I love helping people handle their emotions and handle their problems. I plan on becoming a psychologist, that should be enough to satisfy my needs, satisfy my ambitions but it doesn’t. I want to be a criminal psychologist. That’s right, I want to work with prison inmates, I want to be in the state of mind that they were in when they committed their crime. I want to be able to learn about the mental state of the criminals where in and what made them think it was okay to commit the crimes they committed.
In the field that I want to go into, I need to learn that I won’t be able to fix them, I won’t be able to change them, but I will be able to learn from them. The more we study these people, the more we will learn about how to help people that have the same mental instability. I believe that the more we know about the mental state of the criminals or the more we learn about the reasons they are mentally unstable, the more we will be able to help other people learn how to handle it in a safe, healthy way.
In order to reach my goal, I need to have my doctorate in Psychology and Law, and I will need to focus a large portion of my life on it. I always realize that I will not be able to accomplish this on my own.
