If I could make a living doing what I love most, it would be helping people. Whether it be in church, around my town, or oversees, helping those in need give me the ultimate rush. In college, I am working toward a biology degree to later become a Physician’s Assistant. I look forward to going on medical missions trips and helping people in less fortunate countries who do not have accessible healthcare for whatever medical condition from which they are suffering. Person by person, I plan on making the world a healthier place with smiling faces.
With this scholarship to help me buy textbooks and other materials needed to do well in college, in addition to paying for tuition, I can focus more on achieving my goals and not worry as much about how much those goals cost me. With tuition close to $40,000, and a scholarship that barely covers half of that amount, I am doing anything I can to be that much closer to getting my degree. College is difficult and stressful enough as it is without having to worry about how much I have to pay for it.
