There comes a time in a person’s life where we must work due to financial obligations and most of the time that work isn’t a person’s passion. I believe that everyone has a reason and a purpose for their existence and I have found mine. I found the most joy and happiness when I can make others happy and help a cause. I have been so fortunate in my life especially being a child of Vietnamese immigrants. My purpose in life is to give back to the community that has been so good to me. My passion and goal in life is to help others and spreading the word that we all need to help other because at one time in our lives we have been helped. In order to get help me reach my goals, I have started a Facebook page called Houston Heroes, which is dedicated to unite people all over Houston over one common interest-volunteering. Houston Heroes not only unites those with a common interest, but to also spread word of those organization who are in need of volunteers. From feeding the homeless, to raising money for a cause, to cleaning up our community; the list is endless! I would never expect to make a living doing this because my passion doesn’t have to produce a paycheck, it just has to make a difference and inform others.
