I am currently attending college to pursue a career doing what I love most, which is art and animation. I truly think that creating animated films changes the world because movies, especially animated films, inspire creativity in both children and adults. They allow people of all ages to temporarily escape the troubles and worries of the world, providing a sanctuary for one’s inner child. Animated films also help us remember and treasure our universal morals, as well as providing a memorable and heartwarming experience. Ever since I was little, I have been awestruck with animation and it is my dream to work on animated films that will inspire children everywhere just as they had done when I was young.
In order to reach my goal of becoming an animator, I will first draw constantly and always try new mediums and programs whenever I get the chance. Secondly, I will continue to attend college and putting forth my very best efforts. Thirdly, I will participate in my college’s internship program and gain professional experience. Next, I will build a portfolio containing my best work and create a resume. Then I will move to Burbank, California or a town near that area. Next, I will begin working at smaller companies to gain work experience and finally give my new resume to companies such as Pixar, Disney, DreamWorks, and Nickelodeon. Hopefully, I will then be hired by one of these highly acclaimed companies that I have been inspired by since I was little.
