I would start a program to help bring the gift of vision to every person in need throughout the world. There are many people in the world that simply cannot see. My mother, father and brother all wear glasses. My vision at night was becoming blurry and I went in for a check-up and sure enough I needed glasses. Then I thought about something bigger, what if people around the world could not see well enough to read a book, or a measuring tape or a driver’s license test? Then what if those same people could not afford to go for a check-up like I did and get a pair of glasses?
There are many reasons a person would not be able to first being economically. What if I was able to start a foundation where people could get free vision check-ups? Then what if those same people were able to go to the next room and choose a pair of glasses for free? The impact that this could have not only on the individual but on societies as a whole would be tremendous. It would allow children to read to later on become teachers. It would allow young adults to see that measuring tape and maybe later they would become an engineer. It would also allow and adult the ability to pass the driving test so that for the first time they could experience the freedom of driving on the road going wherever they may choose.
