I have always found nature intriguing, the sight of a Bald Eagle soaring almost hovering over a lake, the sound of the chorus of crickets occupied by frogs, the way the grass switches direction with the wind. This is what I wanted to study since I was little. As I got older I figured out that I love teaching people about what I loved. Fire building, survival, plants, animals, Signs and Tracks are all examples of what I have found I like teaching people. If I could make a living doing one thing it would be environmental education; Teaching the community about the wild life in their back yards, and how to take care of their environment. I believe that our earth needs to be taken care of, so that we can enjoy it for as long as possible. The best way to take care of this earth is to educate people about the environment, and how to take care of it. If we had more people who know what was happening to the animals in their community and cared about how it affected the ever changing ecosystem. We wouldn’t have so many problems with over population. I know in Minnesota we have a huge white-tailed deer population, and that has a lot to do with over hunting of the gray wolf. I believe if we would have had more education about this in the past we wouldn’t have had such a big problem with the deer population.
