I possess many qualities and characteristics; however, the one trait I believe that will benefit me the most is curiosity. My curiosity is what motivates me to complete my tasks throughout the day. This sense of “learning everything possible” has also drove me to my choice of major. Now I am interested in majoring in engineering for various reasons. The primary reason, though, is because I like to help others. Ever since I was a young lad, I have always created new inventions that would help benefit the human race. For example, I’ve created bridges, houses, and even skyscrapers! All were created to make life easier for mankind, and I was only 7 years old. Even though my inventions were made out of Legos and Lincoln logs, and the world I was helping was imaginary, my intentions were always in the right place.
It was my curiosity to seek new ways and solutions is what directed me to the path of engineering. My curiosity in the field of engineering grew more as my interest in science and mathematics grew. Through engineering, one is able to bring forward the merger of mathematics and sciences into a visual concept that serves a purpose of hundreds of people to utilize daily. I have always been fascinated with engineering marvels and how it test scientific explanation. I know that for me to achieve my goal, I have to go to college and get my degree in engineering before I do anything.
