Two of my aspiring interests in life are reading and writing. I have always wanted to use my talents in my future job occupation: being a magazine editor. I would be able to organize and set up my own magazine using my talents while at the same time sending out my message to the readers.
This message that I would tell the world is that society overcompensates body images of women and men alike today.
Today in our society, we seem to obsess over body image, no matter what our “body type” is. In my work being a magazine editor, I would attempt to get rid of the body type, for I do not see the point in it. If we are all built differently, than how are the 7 billion people in this world supposed to conform to a few options of “body types”?
To achieve this dream of becoming a magazine editor, it would be fairly nice to finish my college education, receive my Bachelors, and score an internship at a popular magazine. I would then prove my skills during my internship years. After being hired at a chosen magazine, I would use my talents to climb up the corporate ladder in hopes of becoming the editor.
By having the power to introduce my ideas to society through my magazine, I would hope to rid of the stereotype of having to have a “body type”. I would allow confidence, non-conforming closets, and freedom.
